Disk clean up missing previous installations
Build 9926
Poop! Disk Clean up is missing "Previous Windows Installations" http://www.bleepstatic.com/tutorials...stem-files.jpg I can always boot the disk with a Fedora Live CD and take out the offending directories manually (windows.old and .windows.~bt). -T |

That will take care of the windows.old and other files left over from the upgrade. Mine doesn't have the "Previous Windows installation(s)" check box. -- SC Tom |

I have "Clean up system files". Does not work for my windows.old or .windows.~bt. What is unclean is if that is the way it is suppose to be or if it is the nature of the Alpha code I am running (build 9926). Hmmmmmm...... Also, after the reinstall Bit Defender just dies when I try to install it. Hmmmmmmm x2 -T |

Don't know why it wouldn't work for you- that's how I got rid of windows.old (same build here- 9926). I run AVG Free 2015 with no problems, so I can't guess on Bit Defender. Did you right-click on the executable and "Run as admin"? I've had to do that on some installations even though I AM admin. -- SC Tom |
