Forgotten password
Before summer, I bought a new HP 5560b with XP Pro preinstalled. I made setup
and created three recovery DVDs. The I got other things to do and put the new computer in the cupboard. Now when I am going to start using the computer I find that I have completely forgotten my password. Im no even quite sure which password I have chosen for this computer. What is the best (or least bad) I can do? -- rht |

Forgotten password

Download and make a bootable CD from the ISO file you obtain from the above site link. Read how to use it, and set password blank. http://ophcrack.sourceforge.net/ Or download the Live CD from here(bottom right of page), and make a bootable CD. It will find your Password Whichever one you use, set your Bios to boot from CD/DVD drive insert CD, reboot, and follow instructions to replace/recover Password http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm Above is a very good ISO file image burner to make a bootable Disk. IF you want to avoid the above, just reinstall XP from your Recovery disks! -- Mad Mike "Richard" wrote: The computer i a HP6510b and nothing else. -- rht "VanguardLH" wrote: Richard wrote: Before summer, I bought a new HP 5560b with XP Pro preinstalled.
