Default MSI (new) main board will not recognize actual processor speed of 1800 Mhz.

System likes 1325 Mhz. As of yet my attempts have failed. YET! I attempted to force the issue in BIOS changing core value. Resulting with me reinstalling XP. So, any Ideas? Via KT400A chipset. AMD Athlon XP 2400 processor. MSI K7 (KT4AV) main boar
d. I'll be reading for a solution rather than changing settings. Thanks Mike

Did you update the bios so that it would recognize newer processors?

Also make sure your FSB is set properly. It should be set to 133 mhz (the
multiplier is locked to 15x).
