Default Internal USB 2.0 multi connect hub

I have bought an internal "Direct Acces USB 2.0 multi connect hub" from Trust but it is only detected when I connect it to the USB 1.1 port of my mainboard (EPOX 8K3A) not when I connect it to the USB 2.0 PCI card (then the active light remains always on). I have exchanged the "Direct Access USB 2.0 multi connect hub" and the USB 2.0 PCI card but it has changed nothing.
