Messenger Live and Norton Internet Security
I have Norton Internet Security 2005 installed on MCE 2005. I recently
installed Messenger Live and received a message on the main screen that due to a connection problem some changes may not be available on other computers. What does that mean. I had NIS monitoring Windows Messenger without any problems but I thought this may be causing a problem so I turned this off. I created a new account and had messenger lock up when I restarted my PC. I use a dial up connection to a local ISP with Norton controlling my dial up connection. How do I configure the scanning options and connection options so Messenger Live works properly on my PC. Up until installing Messenger Live I had no problems at all. My connection was just dropped and Messenger redialed and I again received the message that says Due to a connection problem, changes you make might not be applied to other computers. How am I suppose to configure this??? If I select the connection tab it says there is nothing wrong. |

Messenger Live
Thanks! At least I know I am not the only one experiencing the error. I
did have a few lockups, but after I updated Java and Flash it seems to be OK. Also loaded the MSN toolbar. So far that seems to be working OK as well. wrote in message oups.com... me too. no firewall software. |
