Default Messenger Live and Norton Internet Security

I have Norton Internet Security 2005 installed on MCE 2005. I recently
installed Messenger Live and received a message on the main screen that due
to a connection problem some changes may not be available on other
computers.

What does that mean. I had NIS monitoring Windows Messenger without any
problems but I thought this may be causing a problem so I turned this off.
I created a new account and had messenger lock up when I restarted my PC. I
use a dial up connection to a local ISP with Norton controlling my dial up
connection.

How do I configure the scanning options and connection options so Messenger
Live works properly on my PC. Up until installing Messenger Live I had no
problems at all.

My connection was just dropped and Messenger redialed and I again received
the message that says Due to a connection problem, changes you make might
not be applied to other computers.

How am I suppose to configure this??? If I select the connection tab it
says there is nothing wrong.

I have the same error message on a clean install, even before anti
spy/spam/firewall software was installed....

Thanks! At least I know I am not the only one experiencing the error. I
did have a few lockups, but after I updated Java and Flash it seems to be
OK. Also loaded the MSN toolbar. So far that seems to be working OK as
well.
