Hi, Can anyone advise if they have irfanview 4.0 and if it seems like a
safe/good program to load? Does it work with photo's and video's and could it
be used like any "pay for use software"? I loaded the Adobe 3.0 and just
moving pic's to a different file is tough on us beginners and it appears that
it is designed for sending photo's out for processing. Thanks for any aid.
Good Day, Dan oh, this is for a XP SP2 Med. Ed. 2005.- You know, the one of
many models that only works with a video card and remote-that is not
included.. Thanks HP/Compaq.

well...if v3.91 is close enough.... I've been using it for years and it's
one of my most used tools... works fine on Vista also

I'm downloading the v4 packages now to update it again

It's mainly for still pix.... has a multimedia player for video but other
tools do better for most of my needs

IrfanView is safe to install...you may want to
uncheck the boxes that ask you to install
Google Toolbar and Google Desktop Search.

If you post a description of what you wish to
use the software for....we may be able to offer
some ideas.

Another good freebie with a user-friendly
interface FastStone Image Viewer:

Thanks! Will give it a try- and also to Mr. Inzer for his options.
