Hello.

I loved the very old Outpost Firewall 2009, Conseal PC Firewall, Kerio
Personal Firewall, etc. in older Windows. Basically, I just want to be
able to see and block outgoing firewalls easily with their pop-up
alerts. I don't need any other fancy stuff like.

Thank you in advance.

Ant, you are my new best friend. I've been looking for a firewall too.
I just installed ZA and I'm soooo happy. I've missed Kerio.

Thip, I hope you see this after I removed all the other groups so that
it's not cross-posted. You may remember when ZoneAlarm was *the*
firewall to use, before Kerio 2.1.5 (which, believe it or not, I found
and turned ACF onto) even. Then it became too bloated and people gave up
on it.

Tthere's this list:

http://www.matousec.com/projects/pro...ge/results.php

(scroll down on that page) which shows that Privatefirewall:

https://www.privacyware.com/personal_firewall.html

rates better than ZoneAlarm.

However, that list seems to have grown a little long in the tooth. The
reports all date back to Oct. 2011.

I've used Privatefirewall before and it's probably the closest firewall
functionally to Kerio 2.1.5 that I could find.
