Default MS Word & IE

I saw a screenshot that showed MS Word document open in Internet Explorer window with Word toolbars & such. How can I open the document this way in XP, with IE 6 or 7?

How to configure Internet Explorer to open Office documents in the
appropriate Office program instead of in Internet Explorer:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/162059

Try the reverse of what the article (Method 1) says.
