Default Pad.esi - what's up with that?

After reconfiguring and reinstalling (repair) of my XP I
get these pad.esi files on my hard drives. When I rename
them and reboot, they resurrects. When I delete them and
reboot, they resurrect.

They're not associated with any programs, and I dunno
what's creating them.

Managed to remove it from the system drive, but it keeps
reappearing on the other 4 drives.

How come?

Please help

Pad.esi files are usually associated with Diskeeper's FragGuard. This
feature can be turned off within Diskeeper. If the files do not
(re)appear when FargGuard is disabled, Diskeeper may be the cause.
("PAD" ~ a 'padded' area of contiguous disk space usually reserved for
Windows' paging file expansion, ".ESI" ~ Executive Software
International.)
