Can't get through router toi web with new partition
I have installed a new OS using the win xp sp2 disc on another partition, having reformated that partition. No problem doing that. I have a router/modem in one unit. Netgear DG834v3 as a home network (hardwire). On this partition whilst I can see that I am connected to the net, the icon tells me 16Mbs ,or so, the machine refuses to conect in ANY other way at all to the outside world although I can see the other computers in the intranet i.e. here at home. No firewalls are installed on that partition. You can see that I am connected using this original partition. Could any one help? questioner1 |
