Background Intelligent Transfer
-----Original Message-----
For the first time since I got this machine about 2 years ago -- running Windows XP and more patches since then than I can count -- I saw a message in the Event Viewer - System - that said "Background Intelligent Transfer Service" had entered the running state. What is that? Does anyone know? And why does the Microsoft website have so little information on all of these messages, error messages, and bizarre little systems running in the background? Try checking the Knowledge Base... Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 314862 at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en- us;Q314862 To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows XP.
