Shared printer problem
Hi
On Windows XP SP3 via USB installed pritner HP LaserJet 1022 work perfectly printing directly from local computer. After sharing printer through a network, when users tries to print, the print job gets into queue of a local computer that has printer installed but it doesn't print it just waits there. After restarting Print Spooler service on local computer (with printer installed) it prints documents that are in a queue. But when they try to print again we have the same problem. Any ideas how to solve this? Regards,Miha |

Use REGEDIT to remove the entries.

Shared printer problem
First create a Windows restore point just in case.
Then from add-remove programs remove any installation of HP printer software. Under printer settings and device manager delete dedicated printer ports (like USB, TCP/IP for problematic printer) Finally run regedit and delete all records regarding your printer (like "HP LaserJet xxx") Restart computer and reinstall Regards,Miha "Shady Magdy" wrote in message ...
