All of a sudden I cannot access Program Files via MY Computer C: - it
is no longer there?

If I run search it appears in C: and can be accessed by clicking on
C:. Is something hiding it?

Any help would be appreciated.

Try Lawarence's (aka; Grinler) UNHIDE utility.
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/unhide/

If they are hidden, and UNHIDE reveals them, you are most likely infected
with one of the latest rogue trojans.

Thank you David,

I will try your suggestion. After I posted the query, I went back to
Search and once C;Program FIles came up I right clicked to Properties
and saw that the folder had the Hidden checked - I unchecked it and
now have Program FIles back. Will see what other files might be hidden
with the UNhide utility.

You were given good advice...but be sure to totally run a virus and
malware check on your machine...it is probably still infected.
