Default Can Defrag be run on 'Mirror Volumes'?

I just built a new computer running XP Pro and it has two 320 Gb. SATA drives
configured with RAID 1 mirroring. Can the Windows DEFRAG program
(Administrative Tools/Computer Maintenance) be run on mirrored drives or will
that screw the mirroring up somehow? Do the drives need to have the mirror
broken prior to running DEFRAG?

Yes. You just run it on the 'logical' drive, not the individual mirror
components.

No

Do the
drives need to have the mirror broken prior to running DEFRAG?

No.
