Can Defrag be run on 'Mirror Volumes'?
I just built a new computer running XP Pro and it has two 320 Gb. SATA drives
configured with RAID 1 mirroring. Can the Windows DEFRAG program (Administrative Tools/Computer Maintenance) be run on mirrored drives or will that screw the mirroring up somehow? Do the drives need to have the mirror broken prior to running DEFRAG? |
