Default pictere problems

monitor broke,had a bloke in he put in a new card.i bought a widescreen
monitor[bigger than old one]noe i watch something it appears in a small box
on the screen & the picture is really poor-tiny squares in videos that i dont
get in pictues.i am a complete novice i hope i have given enough info

Which version of Windows are you running?

Is the monitor a CRT or an LCD?

It sounds like you need to increase your Screen
Resolution. Check the manual for the monitor...
there should be instructions on setting it up.
