Windows live messenger help

Was using Windows live messenger this am . When over to check my hot
mail from inside of windows live messenger. signed out and got a pink
notice bar say live messenger had encountered a communication error .
Ever since then it will not start up just get a box at bottom of
screen searcing for solution. That is it. Tried to down load a
reinstall it no help. Am running windows 7 64 bit. Even tried to
restore to ealier time . Then tired to start windows live messenger
again. It started once then logged out and when tired to start it
again went back to same problem as before. Hope some one has run into
this and has a fix
