Default Vidio transfer like pixels & Errors for closing Movie Maker

Since i download SP3 for XP profesional, when i transfer video from sony
handy cam by USB, it records like pixcels. All videos saved earlier in Mvie
Maker plays OK. Also I have only 4 Video Effects and 4 Transitions left in
movie maker. It gives me ERROR. Movie Maker has encounted a problem & needs
to close. Its version is 5.1 (Build 2600.XPSP_SP3). please help me. Rgards

No guarantees...but maybe it would be worth
a try to uninstall SP3:

(950249) How to remove Windows XP
Service Pack 3 from your computer

And/or do a system restore to a time before you
installed SP3.

(306084) HOW TO: Restore the Operating
System to a Previous State in Windows XP

Then download the full version of SP3 to a folder
on your hard drive. Disconnect from the net, close
'all' programs...and try installing SP3 again.
