XP Fails to start

Any of the safes? Do this mean you've tried using "last
known good configuration" or somthing to that effect?

or booting from the XP CD and doing a repair?

I logged out on Friday. Returned to do some work on
sunday and the computer was "frozen". Tried to reboot
but
the computer is stuck in a reboot loop. It will not boot
into any of the safe modes.

Any thoughts ?

I have installed any automatic updates suggested to date.
