Default differences between MSNMessenger and WM ??

It appears there is more file sharing and the ability to
collaborate and even share video in Windows Messenger--
much like NetMeeting had.

-----Original Message-----
Could someone tell me the difference between Windows

Messenger and MSN
Messenger??

I can't understand why a company would support 2

different clients for it's
own network.

The last question.. Why XP SP1 came with WM4.7, if it's

already outdated ?

Thank you!

Eduardo

WM 4.0 = WM 4.7 = WM 5.0 = WM 6.0 etc.

MSNM 4.0 = MSNM 5.0 = MSNM 6.0 etc.

WM is NOT only for corporate use, I wish that statement

would go away. It is
not true.

Well, MSN5, MSN6, Windows Messenger 4.7, Windows

Messenger 5.0 all so
confusing.

Since WM 5.0 is now for corporate use only, and WM 4.7

is outdated.

Will MSN6 take its place ?

Will MSN6 be able to use all the features that WM 4.7

without having it
installed ?
