137 GB barrier
Question -
Does the actual system support such a large HD? During post the system may just be displaying what it sees, but doesn't actually support the capacity - just something to check. -----Original Message----- I have installed a 200GB western digital HD with an Ultra ATA controller card. When the system boots it recognizes the full capacity of the HD. When I try to format the drive in disk management, XP does not allow any more than 137 GB. I have updated both the ATA card bios and driver. Also I have XP service pack 1. Any Ideas???? . |
