Secuity Update from Microsoft?
I received a email purported to be sent by Microsoft
Public Security saying a 2Kb self-executable attachment as the latest version of security update of April 2003 cumulative patch. I believe this is not true and the attachment may contain virus. If you receive a similar email with subject "Microsoft Security Update", I suggest you NOT to open the attachment. I append below the "detail" of the sender of this email for your reference. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Return-Path: Received: from ms-smtp-02.tampabay.rr.com ([65.32.1.39]) by lcfep5.online.sh.cn with ESMTP id 20030412094314.YWVU3809.lcfep5.online.sh.cn@ms-smtp- 02.tampabay.rr.com for xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx; Sat, 12 Apr 2003 17:43:14 +0800 Received: from QDGde (161-84.8-67.tampabay.rr.com [67.8.84.161]) by ms-smtp-02.tampabay.rr.com (8.12.5/8.12.5) with SMTP id h3C9Xamn018372; Sat, 12 Apr 2003 05:33:36 -0400 (EDT) Date: Sat, 12 Apr 2003 05:33:36 -0400 (EDT) Message-Id: 200304120933.h3C9Xamn018372@ms-smtp- 02.tampabay.rr.com FROM: "Microsoft Public Services" bsevihuup- TO: "Microsoft Customer" SUBJECT: Microsoft Security Update Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary="jOrnHufdetMscZAp" ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ |
