Outlook Express

I can't get photos through my Outlet Express. I had a
friend try to send me an email with a photo attached. I
received the email with the text, but there was a
notification at the top that read: "OE removed access to
the following unsafe documents in your mail." I know the
attachment was safe. Is this related to my security
level in my Windows XP Home Edition? Do I lower it? I
looked through the Help menu on Outlook Express, but
could find nothing pertaining to this.
