good cheap/free PDF to Word converter required
I currently have Adobe Acrobat 11, from before it was sharecropped, on some older systems, Mac, Win 7. Acrobat 11 is no longer supported, and hasn’t been supported for a Very Long Time. Acrobat 11 doesn’t work on the latest versions of Win10 and macOS. I am NOT sharecropping Acrobat DC, at $15/month/machine; that’s never happening. I need something which will 1 convert PDFs to DOC or DOCX, without page restrictions (some converters have a 5, or even 3, page limit unless you sharecrop them; I’m looking at _you_, WPS.) 2 scan in printed documents to PDF, again without restrictions 3 either be free, or reasonably priced, WITH NO BLOODY SHARECROP RENTAL BULL****. I’m willing to pay, if necessary. I’m not willing to rent. |

Likewise, individual images can be selected, copied and pasted into Pages at their original resolution. A PDF document is not organized like a Word processing document and you will need a PDF Editor to export it to Word .docx, which you can then open in Pages. PDF Editors are not included with macOS, nor are they free, and a good example would be PDFpen 11 or PDFpenPro 11 in the Mac App Store. The free trial versions found on that vendor's website do not unlock the ability to export the PDF to Word though. In either case, if the PDF has restrictions on copying content, then neither preceding paragraph will work. Stay away from the magic PDF to Pages converters that are all over the Internet as you will spend days trying to clean up the grotesque formatting that results. Posted on Sep 21, 2019 10:52 AM |

Try this thread: Message-ID: If size is the limiting factor break the PDF into smaller files and then convert them?
