Default inheritance

when I disable inheritance on a subfolder on a mapped network drive in
win 7, I can click add so the permissions don't change and I'm only
disabling inheritance. It looks so different when I try to do the same
thing in win 10, so how do I accomplish the same thing in win 10? Thanks

Pay attention to the part about "Take Ownership" if you have a problem.
