Default Hello, XP Pro right click problem

Good Morning,
All replies are appreciated. I have automatic update turned on for
my computer and over the last couple of weeks or so it has updated a
couple of time and now when I try to use the right click button on my
mouse it will not work anywhere. Can someone point me in the right
direction to fix it?

Your mouse might be defective. Have you tried a different mouse?

No big deal. Virtually everybody knows that updates *can* cause
disasters. Just restore from your backup.

Free ones are available at:

Acronis True Image Seagate Edition (DiscWizard)
http://www.seagate.com/www/en-us/sup...ads/discwizard

Acronis True Image WD Edition
http://support.wdc.com/product/downl...&wdc_lang =en

Paragon DriveBackup Express 9 (free)

As mentioned, the mouse button may be defective. It's easy enough to
try a different one, borrowed or bought..

Right-click is slow or weird behavior caused by context menu handlers:

Default Hello, XP Pro right click problem

You can find the shell extension that is causing the problem
with "ShellExView". Simply disable half the items then test
your right-click. Keep halving them until you narrow it down
and find the one causing the crash, then disable it.

ShellExView ~70 KB (Freeware)
Web: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview.html
Download: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview.zip
Installer: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview_setup.exe
Windows 64-Bit: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview-x64.zip
