IE 8 crashes often
I had a virus and had to reinstall Win XP. I did so then I installed IE8 and
then the service Packs (not sure if the order makes any difference but maybe so, and that is why I am detailing this), and now IE8 crashes often. Suddenly it gives me a message saying that IE8 stopped working. Is there a way I can fix this? I guess the answer is uninstall IE8 and reinstall it, if so, please explain how? Thanks Jorge E Jaramillo |

Did you do a Repair Install or did you format the HDD and do a clean install? -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Client - since 2002 www.banthecheck.com Jorge E. Although sometimes it's necessary to undo the damage a virus has caused, most often there are far easier ways to get rid of a virus. For help with your problem, please describe exactly what you did to "reinstall Win XP."
