CCleaner Off MS Bad Liset
https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/new...munity-forums/
Ha ha. I use it and think it is very handy and quick. However, I don't use the Registry Cleaner Function as I believe you can do damage to your OS by using any Registry Cleaner, blindly. Great that MS took it OFF there blacklist, or whatever it's called. Buffalo |

I agree and I don't really know of any reason to use a registry cleaner BUT CCleaner won't hurt your machine AFAIK, I've tested it many times. I always do a registry backup as CCleaner offers, it's easy to restore the registry as it was before the cleanup but I've never had to do so (other than a test just to make sure it works.) Note: I always do a FULL BACKUP onto a remote drive before doing anything to the registry, never had to restore 'em. -- XS11E, Killing all posts from Google Groups The Usenet Improvement Project: http://twovoyagers.com/improve-usenet.org/ |
