Hi Group,

I have been having a problem lately with my OE. Irritating to say the least.
When I send a letter with attachment, lets say a BMP or JPG; whether it be a
picture of whatever, somewhere around the 3MB; the little graph runs all the
way up to the end but doesn't quite completely send the entire message. Then
after a while I get a message that the server timeout is over and asks if I
want to lengthen it. Of course, which I have done; with my settings up to
4,5 Minutes on my timer, but it still doesn't deliver the message. This has
only happened lately. Lets say for the past 3 weeks or so.My ISP doesn't
seem to know that problem either.
Any ideas? I am sort of lost with this.

Thanks

Earl

Earl,
Is this problem only occurs with some recipients? Or anyone you send the =
message to? Have you tried sending this message back to yourself. There =
may be several reasons for this.
1. It is possible that the message is too large for the recipient's =
mailbox. They may have a limit of all the messages that are in their =
mail folders. Such as Yahoo & HotMail basic accts, usually it is only =
2MB in total for them. So if they didn't have any messages stored in =
their mail accts, they still could not receive a 3MB file from you.
2. Some ISP's will not allow that size of message to be received by =
their customers. So they will not get entwined in all the file-sharing =
controversy.
