HP Deskjet 960c series installation problem
I uninstalled my printer and now trying to re-install but
with no success. I've deleted all files from the last installation including the Hpf*.*,*Hpz files. I also uninstalled the Windows generic drivers. The proper drivers are downloaded from the HP Website. I can copy these files to my Hard Drive but when I try to install the drivers, I get an error message titled "16 Bit Windows Subsystem" and the text of the message is C:\Windows\System32\config.nt. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'CLOSE' to terminate the application. I get this same message when I try to install the Program CD. Any help is greatly appreciated. |
