Default QuickBasic in XP

I need to install QuickBasic on XP. I believe it's true that on Windows 98
and before, QBasic installed automatically upon set up. However on XP the
user has to manually install from the set up CD. Can anyone shed any light
on this? Can QBasic be installed from XP setup files?

Thanks in advance
Chris

By the way, Quick Basic has NEVER been a part of the distribution of =
Windows. QBasic was installed under DOS 5.0 and later, if I'm not =
mistaken
