Default Workgroup not accessible

Go to the controll panal= network
There must be the LAN Connection (f.ex. LAN1)- right mouse
click on it= properties!
On the last TAB are the settings for the firewall!

I am having the same problem. Another newsgroup poster
suggested checking the XP firewall. I am not

particularly
familiar with XP, however, and I don't yet know where to
check on the firewall settings.

Any answers to the above post would be doubly appreciated.

When click on my network places I get
"(workgroup) not accessible. You might not have

permission
to use this network resource. Contact the administrator

of
this server to find out if you have access permissions

This list of servers for this workgroup is not currently
available"

I am the administrator and I have no clue why this has
started happening now. Nothing was changed. I have
gotten this before but it usually went away after a

reboot.
