Default slow speed...

I suspect that this is an interpretation problem. You are=20
not understanding what is being shown to you. For=20
example, if you have an internet connection that is 1.5=20
Mps and you were using all of that speed it would show=20
you using only 1.5% of the available 100 Mbps that your=20
network card can handle (15% if you had a 10 Mbps card).=20
So you would see a reading of only 1.5% even though you=20
are maxing out the speed of your internet connection. In=20
actual practice you will never be able to use all the=20
speed of your internet connection because some of the=20
bandwidth is used for mangement purposes and you can only=20
connect as fast as the slowest connection in the link of=20
servers to the websites you are connecting to. Hope this=20
helps.

-----Original Message-----
I use 100mb shared internet connection. When I hit=20
ctrl-alt-del to see how much of the available bandwith=20

I=B4m=20
using it shows that I use usually mere 0.5-1% and it=20
rarely goes over 1%. So how do I kick some speed to me=20
connection?
