Acronis True Image 2016/2015 Question
Believe it or not, I was replying to myself - you see I was having
trouble with my posts - they were not showing up for some reason. All seems okay now. Anyway - I'll look again in V2014. Thank you me On Sat, 05 Sep 2015 15:11:03 -0400, Big Al wrote: wrote on 9/5/2015 12:42 PM: On Sat, 29 Aug 2015 07:54:00 -0400, wrote: I downloaded the trial version of both 2015 & 2016 Acronis True Image. I don't see any mention of 'recovery disks' in either. Is it that they are not included in the trial versions, or aren't they used? I found them invaluable when my drive bombed and I had to buy a new one. Not sure I would buy either if it does not have this feature. Maybe I just missed it. Thanks me You are responding to someone with no previous message. If you're asking about the recovery disk, the Acronis disk itself can be booted from and used to recover. Also if you sign into Acronis.com and register your serial# you can download ISO, exe install, etc. But 14 allows for making recovery CD not sure why 15 or 16 doesn't. It's under tools and utilities tab on 2014. |

I wouldnt even dream of using 2015 if they arnt supplying a boot disk creation tool with it, that looks like a sales policy change to force people to purchase... still use 2010 version here! C+ I purchased Acronis 2015 late in 2014. It has the tool to create a bootable "rescue disc". -- David E. Acronis True Image 2016/2015 Question
I was just curious - I asked about it because I considered it to be
important. I would not buy Acronis without it. Thanks Me On Wed, 9 Sep 2015 22:10:34 -0400, "SC Tom" wrote: "David E. Ross" wrote in message ...
