Where did Program Files go? in Win XP?
I have on a separate partition my Program Files and all of a sudden I do not
see this Folder anymore, yet all programs seem to work as before. What is the matter?

Sorry, last item is to click Search, not OK, for there is no OK.
When it finds the folder hover the mouse over it and it will tell you the location. -- XP - WNP Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Where did Program Files go? in Win XP?
Well, I tried it and it did find a number of Program Files, but none for
Drive H, where I have all my programs installed. Going to Explore on that drive also shows no Program Files (which were always there), yet the Properties show that 13.5 GB are installed and so far I see that all programs seem to work. Checking with 2 programs for a Virus also showed none and my programs, as I said, seem to work. BUT - I like the Program Folder back, because I cannot make a selection without that folder. When you did the Search, did you change the location to look in

Go to My ComputerToolsFolder OptionsView

I did search HIDEB files too.
The download keeps on asking for Association. that bugs me. There is no association since this is the first Acrobat Reader 7.x download. No, I tried that. Did not work. Download will not install. No Viruses
