Screen resolution
My screen is flat, high definition, 19 inches. My normal resolution is 1280
by 1024 and 32-bit colour. Recently it has taken to reverting to lowest definition - 800 by 600 and 16-bit colour - about one second after the desktop appears. When I reset to normal the screen is stable, but the next time I boot or reboot I am back to minimum. The drivers appear to be in order. Is there a way of getting the screen resolution to stay where I set it, and where it has been for the last year? Stuart Falconer |

(blush)... I sorted this one myself a few hours later. I went to the Nvidia site and downloaded the VERY latest drivers, and Lo all was well. Thanks for responding anyway. Cheers Stuart |

Screen resolution
I've got the same problem, in the sence that the screen resolution is reset to a lower setting, which mainly happens during start up of the computer. I did install a new program before this all occurred, but what drivers am I supposed to update? And is this solely a matter of updating drivers or can it be a virus in the start up? -- Brissie ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Brissie's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/member.php?userid=51671 View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/showthread.php?t=972137 http://forums.techarena.in |
