Default problem streaming medias within IE

ok i have a problem streaming medias within IE. I have
Media Player 9 installed but for some reason when say i
go to a streaming website like Launch Yahoo or any other
website with streaming content, it would not load the
video at all. i check the settings and make sure active x
was on and all the other stuff since i went through some
tech support via email with yahoo unfortunitly it still
hasn't helped at all.

i went to a website http://audience.broadcast.yahoo.com/,
and did a Configuration Check on IE and media player
settings and to make sure everything is ok, even though i
enable active x, the results of that page still comes up
as false for active x being on. i don't know if that has
anything to do with it.

i do not have any popup or any sort of ad removal
programs. i do have antivirus, but thats been on my
computer for a long time, and this problem just started
not long ago.

anyways i attached an image file of what it looks like
when i attempt to view a streaming video so you can see
it for yourself and see if you have a solution. ofcourse
the video does not load. i tried reinstalling wmp9 but
that does not work.
