Default prevent display of internet logon IDs

Neal, In Internet Explorer go to Tools then Internet Options... then
Content (I know it makes no sense) then AutoComplete uncheck User names and
passwords on forms. The click the Clear Passwords button. That should do
it.

Hope that helps.

I'm finding that logon id information is stored and
included in a dropdown box or auto-completed when I sign
on to some websites. I don't want these IDs stored on my
machine. I can't find a setting to turn this off, and I
would like to know where the information is cached/stored
so that I can delete the info. Any suggestions?

I'm using XP Home edition. Thanks in advance.
