Default Windows oriented phishing, malware blacklists

I was reading The Register some while back and one of the writers
mentioned subscribing to a DNS based blacklisting server, where your
DNS server downloads updates to help it block malware laden web sites.

Can anyone name a few of them as well what software is used with them,
and how it is configured?

All you need to do as far as software is concerned, is to configure your
internet options to point to *that* DNS service as opposed to the one it
now points to (probably your ISP's own server's address).

OpenDNS is the only one I can think of at the moment, but Google should
turn up many more.
