But this page says there's a way: https://www.askvg.com/tip-get-classi...-australis-ui/ I haven't tried it as I try to avoid updating FF any more than necessary, for just this reason. I'm tired of needing to find new extensions to fix broken things. |

I like the tabs below the bookmark tool bar as the tabs are then associated with the bookmarks, not some where up in the sky. I hope they develop a solution. It is very awkward having the tabs up there -- 2018: The year we learn to play the great game of Euchre |

As before, it involves placing a file called userChrome.css in your "chrome" folder inside your Firefox profile folder, but the contents of userChrome.css are slightly different now. Here's my Google search - I'm quite sure I got the info from one of these results. https://www.google.com/search?q=fire...tabs+on+bottom |

I must be doing something wrong! I never had tabs at the bottom on any version/update of Firefox. Did not know that the tabs could be at the bottom. The only thing you are doing wrong is not to understand how old people explain themselves. Keith is a very old man and he meant to say tabs below the menu bar. He definitely didn't mean to say at the bottom of the page. Old people do have serious problems explaining themselves and sometimes they take a very long time to explain themselves. -- With over 950 million devices now running Windows 10, customer satisfaction is higher than any previous version of windows. |

Â*Â*Â* Paul I followed the instructions and the tabs are still on top. I assume the number in "-moz-box-ordinal-group: 2" is the position of the toolbar ( top to bottom, 1 above 2, 2 above 3 etc) . What I don't understand is why the tabs toolbar is 100. OP While I like to maintain the latest version for security reason, I have uninstalled 65 and reinstalled 64. Having the tabs at the top of the page does not work for me. I hope that some one comes up with a fix to move the tabs below the bookmark tool bar. -- 2018: The year we learn to play the great game of Euchre |

I am the OP.Â* I use tabs in conjunction with the bookmark toolbar.Â* I have folders on the bookmark tool bar and open a folder as tabs.Â* This puts the bookmarks in the folder unter the bookmark toolbar.Â* I can then work the page in each tab until I am done with it and move on to the next book mark folder for thos bookmarks. Having the tab menu at the top of the window, interfers with the logic of the operations as when you check the toolbars, you want to see the tabs, not the bookmarks. In other words the tabs are dependent to the bookmarks not the other way around. To resolve the problem I have uninstalled 65 and reverted to Firefox 64. Â*I have shut off the auto update feature. I think the logic goes that with the new orientation the tab has the URL field *within* the tab. Also vertical space is conserved because the title bar is eliminated. Thought it might be a Windows 10 UI thing but it now looks the same on Ubuntu. It is a Firefox copying Chrome thing... -- Take care, Jonathan ------------------- LITTLE WORKS STUDIO http://www.LittleWorksStudio.com |

With the tabs below the bookkmarks, the tabs are right above the page, so you have the tabs right above the page for easy identification. Once you work close all of the tab as you finish with it you then have the bookmark toolbar right above to access another folder with URL's -- 2018: The year we learn to play the great game of Euchre |

Because you *must* install it properly. 1) First navigate to your profile DIR. Easiest way is to enter 'about:support' in URL box and from the page under "Profile Folder" click "Open Folder" 2) Create a folder if it does not exist, (it probably won't), and name it chrome. 3) Put file userChrome-tabs_on_bottom_Fx65.css in that folder. 4) Rename the file to 'userChrome.css' 5) Restart Firefox and enjoy! -- Take care, Jonathan ------------------- LITTLE WORKS STUDIO http://www.LittleWorksStudio.com |

I did own an ipad 2017 & got rid of it within 6 months as it was unusable compared to my android tablets. what were you trying to do to where you considered it unusable? |
