Default Free program to recover corrupted memory card files?

The MemoryStick in my Girlfriend's Sony camera is going bad. Twice now we've
recorded a bunch of video and I was unable to get ONE video off the memory
card. The others all came off fine.

Does anyone know a free program I can use to get this off?

I think the camera is the one who broke the memory card. It's a 1GB card and
this problem started to occur after one day I filled the memory card full.
It was totally full and could not record any more.

Google "card recovery", you'll find lots of offerings, both free and
paid.

Memory cards don't last forever. My wife had one die quickly and
completely: she filled it full pf pictures during the day and it
seemed to be doing fine. When we tried to download the pics from it
that evening, we couldn't get anything. Even the recovery programs
couldn't make sense of it.

I have only recovered pictures from a camera card once, but the
program (Recuva) worked flawlessly. And these photo's had been deleted
from the card!
