DVD digital copy protection error with WMP 9 and 11
I am getting a DVD digital copy protection error when trying to play a DVD
movie with Media Player 9 and 11 on XP Pro SP3. I also have PowerDVD install, which plays the DVD fine. I ran the MS Windows XP Video Decoder Checkup Utility, which returned green checks. What am I missing? |

If you must use Windows Media Player... maybe the following plug-ins would be worth a try: Info on DVD Decoders: Plug-ins for Windows Media Player http://tinyurl.com/j9e29 or... http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...r/plugins.aspx Good luck... -- John Inzer Digital Media MVP Notice This is not tech support I am a volunteer Solutions that work for me may not work for you Proceed at your own risk |

DVD digital copy protection error with WMP 9 and 11
I noticed that Cyberlink's PowerDVD was a plug-in on the MS link
(http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win.../plugins.aspx). I have PowerDVD installed (with codecs). Does WMP not support Cyberlink codecs?
