Internet connection problem in Windows 10.

Could I ask for a help in this matter.
I had a perfect installation of Win 10 over the Win 8.1
with working internet connection. For some reason
suddenly I've lost the internet connection because:
"Ethernet doesn't have a valid IP configuration".

This topic is NOT my strongest and I can't get fix
this "IP configuration" - neither can the Windows'
Trouble shooter. I tried all possible "resets" of
Super Hub on Virgin optical ISP but in vane.

Any help will be greatly appreciated...

developer's conference. That puts the release date until sometime after

So what are you doing asking here? They want experts to test their
preview release, not typical consumers. They need previewers that can
dig into problems and report bugs with professional elan.

Try using that to report an upgrade from a working Win8 setup to Win10
Preview causes networking issues. They'll probably want details on your
TCP/IP setup in Win10 along with info about your intranetwork setup
along with a summary of what diagnosis and troubleshooting you have
already tried.

Are you one? If so, did you check the TCP/IP properties for your LAN
connectoid to see if you are setup for dynamic or static IP addressing?
Did you disable all security software to test Win10 bare and exposed
since that software is not yet certified for use on Win10?

Users that think they are expert enough to warrant testing out a preview
release are expected to discuss problems there. For example, there's a
thread there titled "Can't connect to networks". So do you know that
the NIC driver from the old Win8 setup is still usable under Win10?

You've got a bad port in the switch (or a bad switch if you tried all
ports). The OS can't see a switch box. Did you unplug all other hosts
from the switch to test? Is it really a switch or hub?

Did you look for the Network Troubleshooter ?

It isn't very good, but it does execute a series
of canonical reset steps for networking. The
steps would be similar to this.

netsh winsock reset catalog
netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /registerdns
exit

As you can see in the thread here, that set of
steps doesn't solve every problem. But at
least you know to look for "netsh" articles
on the web (from a working computer of course).

Since the error message says your Ethernet doesn't have
a valid configuration, you could also try looking at the
networking stack window. Removing a layer can cause
serious problems. Doing "Properties" on the TCP/IP
entry may tell you what the configuration says.

Technically, not true. As the official Microsoft site states about the
Windows Insider Program:

"This program is designed exclusively for people who want to be
involved in the process. So if you want to help us build the best
Windows yet, we want you to join us."

Whist that which Microsoft and I stated is correct for the Windows
Technical Preview, your take on it is applicable to the Windows
Technical Preview for Enterprise.

By the way, router's have switches, not hubs. So the OP's reply is
contradictory.
