XP hangs at Windows Flag Screen on Normal Mode
I did try what you told me, including bootcfg /rebuild
using installation CD. But, it still did not solve the problem. Windows stops at the flag screen and does not continue to logon screen on normal mode. Any other suggestions to fix it? Thanks again -----Original Message----- Try typing:Msconfig in run,chk the boxes. You can install xp cd,recovery, type:bootcfg /? you'll probably end up typing:bootcfg /rebuild -----Original Message----- After installation is finished, XP hangs at Windows flag screen on normal mode (the progressing bar works for awhile and then it stops). I can get in using safe mode, but I don't know how to fix the problem. Right now, my computers has dual-booting i.e. Windows 2000 (which works perfectly) on drive C and XP on drive D. Can someone helps me? Thanks Mike James . . |
