Question Help with start menu

My 3 year old, who is probally more computer literate than i am, has recently been using my pc and has some how put my start menu to the left hand side of my screen. I have been into everything to try and find out how to put it back at the bottom but cannot do it. Could anyone, without getting to techy, tell me how to do it??

Thanks very much

Nev.....
