I had the "Unused icons on your desktop" alert today.

I opened it and it was telling me that every icon had "never" been used. Any
idea what might have caused this?

It's Windows messin' with you LOL.

Just kidding. Right-click on your desktop, pick Properties. Go to the
Desktop tab, click on Customize Desktop..., and uncheck 'Run Desktop Cleanup
Wizard every 60 days.' Then you won't be prompted any more.

Windows sometimes has a strange way of looking at time. For example, install
a program (doesn't really matter what; say, a card game), run it a couple of
times, then go into Add/Remove programs to uninstall it. Quite often, next
to "used", it'll say Rarely or Occasionally. I have a Yahtzee game I play
maybe once a day or two just for yuks, and A/R says it's rarely used, and
last used Aug. 2008. It may have been installed Aug. '08, but it's been used
a lot since then.
