Default virtual printer that can be shared on a netowk?

Many people are familiar with virtual printers like

doPDF (captures output and generates a pdf file)
microsoft XPS document writer (similar to doPDF but saves a xps file)
fineprint (captures print output and print them out in smaller sizes to
save paper)

Has anyone seen a virtual printer that can be shared on a network, so that
another computer can print to it and the output is captured for further
processing (be it conversion to PDF, XPS, ...)?

I tried to share doPDF and microsoft XPS document write, both pop up a
dialog saying sharing is not supported.

You might want to look at http://www.printdistributor.com/

Hi James,

You can use PrintMulti.
http://www.lvbprint.de/bin/current/PrintMultiSetup.exe

It is a print processor that is assigned to a normal printer and can be
shared. The main purpose is to output the print job to the PrintMulti-
printer to multiple other printers with many options configured in an
ini file.
Scripts can be executed on the printer output written to files.
Free to use on all client OS, even if a printer is shared. License
needed for server OS.
Sorry the full manual is only available in german language, but the
installation will store a detailed example file in english language.
I can send you an unready english manual if desired.
