Default Incoming faxes

faxes from a particular sender sometimes come in ok and sometimes all that
shows in each fax page is a tiny square right in the middle of the page. We
receive faxes from other senders ok. The message in fax console says "15
faxes suceessfuly received, however, I cannot view them just the tiny square
in the middle of the 15 pages. Any fixes? is it a sender problem? The
sender tells me they do not have any problems with any other recipients of
their faxes. Please help.
I am using Windows XP.

Try viewing the fax with a different tiff viewer. I'd suggest you try
Brava! or Irfanview. If you can view the tiff correctly then the problem
is probably a line noise issue (the MS Fax viewer is extremely
intolerant of image corruption).

If this is a business critical application then please take a look at
the Mainpine Fax Solution that includes ECM to detect and correct these
errors.
