Default Limited account users can't use programs installed by administrator

I am not that familiar with XP and I am having
difficulties with setting up the system for a variety of
users. A particular problem has occurred whereby a game
installed by myself, an administrator account, cannot be
accessed by a limited user account. Yet if i create a new
account it can access the game! Also does anyone know how
one uses the folders in documents and settings realting
to individyual desktop configurations.

Temporarily make that limited account an admin account. Reinstall the
game while logged on as that user and run the game. Then set the limited
account back and see if it works. It likely will.
