Default Can't delete "virus" program from Temp Folders

Hi!
I have 3 remaining "virus" programs in temp folders:
* c:\windows|temp
* c:\Doc & Sett\name\local settings\Temp

When delete or move to desktop, get error:
"Cannnot move........being used by another program..."

Tried Safe Mode, but "virus" programs not there......

Any way I can delete or move to trash?

MUCH THANKS!
Gene

What program are you using to try to remove them?
What anti-virus app is installed, and is that what you are using to
remove them?

Install update and run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and see if it can
remove them in the course of its scan:
http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

There are instructions on this web page on how to install and use MBAM:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/viru...privacy-center

Please do NOT click any of the ads on that page.

Two approaches, use BartPE to delete from outside the OS, or use:

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/s.../bb897556.aspx

which will delete at next reboot before any processes get a chance to start.

Try to show hidden files and folders in Safe Mode and try the deletion.

If you know the correct path to these progs try this tool:

http://killbox.net/help.html

Try this live CD:
Dr.Web® LiveCD
Emergency System Recovery Disk
http://www.freedrweb.com/livecd/?lng=en

If this machine really badly infected you need either to take to your local
Repair shop or clean install of the operating system. The later will wipe
out all data and you will lose all of your programs and Personal Data,
Pictures..etc

Who said you were infected with a 'virus' ?
What makes you think it is a 'virus' and NOT a trojan ?

What exactly are they and what is telling you they need to be removed.

Please provide REAL facts.

What "'virus'" programs" are these? How do you know they are viruses?

What do you mean by "remaining"? What have you done so far?

If you are using an anti-virus program, which one is it?
