finding a printer that is compatible woth XP

i just got a new computer and i love it, but i am having a
small problem. i have tried two different printers and
none seem to work with Windows XP.

i have stuff that i need to print for school among other
things and i was wondering if anyone knew a inexpensive,
just plain old black and white printer that is compatible.

Any printer will work AS LONG AS there is Windows XP driver support, and
that the load procedure has been followed to the letter.. go to the printer
manufacturer website for XP drivers..

Which printers do you have. I know of only a very few that won't work
correctly with XP.
